THE BIG APPLE 80 - Results

Updated: Apr 4, 2018

It was a caution flag show case for the first showing at the Glen. Ichiban Racing sensation Zac Wilson in the #17 Toyota started from last place and even through all the trouble on the track, he made up to P1 to grab his first victory of the season in his first ever start. We saw consistency, strategy, and just pure raw talent from the 17 car this week. He is gonna be the guy to beat for the rest of the season. After his first race he resides 10th in driver standings for now. A great showing again for Anarchy Motorsports having #8 Logan Clark grab the IVRL Pole award this week and also P2 for the race. #88 John Williamson clinching his second top 5 of the season coming home P4. Anarchy Motorsports was able to grab crucial points and steal the Owners Point Standings away from HB Motorsports. It was a good showing for HB Motorsports as well clinching 2 top 5's from #32 of Hinshaw and the #76 of Tylar Brown. The following day after the race after #44 Guiseppe Guavo who did not start at Watkins Glen, was added to that HB Motorsports roster for hopefully the rest of the season. This is huge for HBM trailing Anarchy in the owners championship by just -14 points. There is a new team lurking in the distance with 4 cars and two which showed up this week at the Glen. 4 Horsemen Racing, the #10 of Spencer St Peter and the #77 Unknown Soul broke the ice but they have two more cars to bring to Dubai. Could they possibly compete with Anarchy Motorsports and HB Motorsports this season? We have one hell of a doozy coming up at Dubai for 22 laps through the windy hills and sand blowing like a desert storm. We'll see you there!
