The Coke Zero 400 Under the Lights!

The XBOX ONE NASCAR International Forza Performance Series lit it up under the lights at Daytona International Speedway for The Coke Zero 400. New comer Johnny Edge in the HRP #81 Ford Fusion machine was able to set a blistering lap shattering the current track record held by teammate #44 Guiseppe Guavo who set it earlier in February this year. However, #8 Chevrolet SS, Logan Clark of Anarchy Motorsports already has 4 poles coming into Daytona. He was not backing down without a fight! Clark was able to come right back with his own blistering lap and breaking the track record again with a 37.969! Unfortunately, yet again Clark lagged out with connection issues early on. We hate to see this happen time and time again for Clark, he has been one the fastest drivers all year long in this series. It was a rough start for The Coke Zero 400 battling cautions for the first 20-30 laps but after the red flag on the back stretch we were able to regather and put on some good racing. There were a few lead changes from pit stops and cautions a lot of guys battled back and forth for that top spot. If you were out front it was almost impossible to get around that front car if they were holding the bottom line. After 400 miles of pure adrenaline and stamina the #95 Jonathan Medlin in the POW MIA Chevrolet SS for Anarchy Motorsports was able to cross the line first just edging out the #11 of Jaime Lozano of Top Notch Racing for his first win of the season and giving Anarchy their second victory of the season. The #44 Guiseppe Guavo was able to hold off his teammate and HRP team owner the #12 of Randy Hinshaw II to lock in his 6th podium of the season in that third spot! A stellar run for the #27 of Alexander Jones rounding out the top 5 and his first top 5 of his career just beating the #78 of Daniel Vincent driver and team owner of BlueGrass Racing who placed 6th. The #45 of Eric Martinez aka TUNE found his best finish of the year ending this 400 mile exhausting race in 8th place. There was a lot to learn out there this weekend for everyone as they were carrying speeds of 241 mph in the draft on corner entry holding 232 mph through the turn! It was a big learning experience for the drivers and The XBOX ONE NASCAR International Forza Performance Series as we put it behind us and get ready for the Top Gear West Reverse Circuit Shootout Battle of the Teams! Next on the schedule will be Road of America as we stop in Plymouth, WI on Sunday July 22, for The All-American 88 for 40 laps around the East Circuit! Should be a fast circuit with lots of passing opportunities and high speeds.
