The Down Under Thunder 1Hunder(100)

What a great race weekend we had at Bathurst Mt. Panorama! Originally scheduled to race on May 13th, but the race was rescheduled for the following Sunday May 20th since the 13th was Mothers Day. We went Green to Checkered for the first time all year, and a whole lot of clean and competitive racing! It was a great battle upfront between new comer Jaime Lozano and front runner Logan Clark for the top spot for 26 green flag laps. Clark pitted and Lozano risked fuel mileage for another lap and was able to create enough of a gap to hold off the #8 of Clark for the remainder of the race. This was a huge run for TCD Motorsports let alone the win from Lozano, but also the first victory from a Chevrolet all season! TCD now has a 4 car team and hope to be able to compete with the front runners, and this weekend they proved that they not only can, but they definitely will. Another big weekend for Anarchy Motorsports bringing home P2 with Clark, P5 Cody Slaughter, and P6 John Williamson. Anarchy has now stretched the owners championship to a 98 point lead in front of HRP (Hinshaw Racing Performance). The #32 of Hinshaw was the only driver from HRP to start the race, unfortunately the 6 place qualifier Guiseppe Guavo was not able to start the race due to complications. The #22 of Tylar Brown hasnt made an appearance since week 4 at Watkins Glen and will no longer be a part of HB Motorsports which is now HRP (Hinshaw Racing Performance). Next week we have Homestead Miami for 67 laps in the Welcome to Miami 100 for 100 miles of high speed mayhem around the mile and a half oval. Looking forward to seeing what new comer for HRP the #23 of Daniel Rodriguez in the Ford Fusion can do for his first start at Miami!
